BECOMING A GOOD CHRISTIAN
Becoming a good Christian involves following the teachings of Jesus Christ and striving to live a life that pleases God. This includes the following:
- Believing that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, accepting His sacrifice on the cross for your sins, and accepting His forgiveness.
- A regular study of the Bible is essential to understanding God’s will for your life and receiving guidance from it.
- Developing a personal relationship with God through daily prayer and communication.
- A regular practice of worshiping God through regular attendance at church and participation in corporate worship.
- Being of service to others and showing compassion to others in need, as was taught by Jesus.
- Living a moral and ethical life consistent with the Ten Commandments.
- Growing in your faith and understanding of God through fellowship with other believers and participation in small group Bible studies.
You can become a good Christian by following these principles and seeking to live a pleasing life to God and experience the joy and fulfilment that comes from being in a close relationship with Him.
